NKPJ AND SKOJ ELECTIONS STATEMENT

CALLS FOR BOYCOTT PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS



Secretariat of the New Communist Party of Yugoslavia (NKPJ) and the Secretariat of the League of Communist Youth of Yugoslavia (SKOJ) made the decision to boycott the parliamentary elections in Serbia go toward May 6 2012.

NKPJ and SKOJ election boycott in protest because the bourgeois regime in Serbia has imposed discriminatory laws that prevent political organization of the communists and their equal participation in the struggle to enter the National Assembly. The law on political parties and electoral rules are worded so that the communists would be politically impossible for parliamentary work. Therefore NKPJ SKOJ and invite their members and sympathizers as well as the entire working people of Serbia to boycott the upcoming parliamentary elections.

When it comes to local elections, which will also be held May 6 NKPJ and SKOJ made the decision that where there are conditions for this, their organizations may take part in them.
